thank..i will take better pictures soon. the last picture the tank was not clear yet. the lights are nice..i finally see the shimering effect that people talk about...i had t-5 before

Lookin good. I like the lighting. What ballast are you using? Also, are you still using the Radium bulb? 14K?
If you don't mind, throw up some pics of the sump area, and inside the canopy now that you have everything situated and running. I always like seeing how people deal with difficult space constraints. Chris |

i am using a Hamilton 250 de Hqi ballast...i am running the Radium which is a Se 250 hqi
i will take picture on Tuedsay.. i do not have my calcium reactor,auto top off, or temperature controller set up yet.. and am just using the Asm mini for now until i have money for a mag 7 to run my Bremuda 3-c

wow... i just came home from school at 8:15p.m and most of my coral are burnt... the light came on at 3 p.m.
The radium 250 is alot of light i had ice cap (2) 54 t-5 with 2 96 pc before and nothing burned...

John,
If you have a way to raise the pendant/lumenarc higher in the canopy, that might help alleviate some of the problem. You could also move the corals lower in the tank. Good luck getting it all dialed in, Chris |

did a few test last night
mg 1470 kh 6....i know to low cal over 1500 salinity on mine 1.025 but to friend 1.025 ...i have to calibrate mine again. i still have to hook up my calicum reactor...hopefully this will help fix my kh issue

Too much light
If it's the brown-out your referring too, my bet is on the new tank & the move causing stress. It's not the lights. They'll come back, give it time....

no the first one was caused by to much light intensity..(i had t-5 and pc at first ) it bleaced the coral or it may have been becasue of my dkh being a bit low..but i have my calcium set up.
