calc and alk

what's the recommendation on the level of calc. and alk.? i've been doing 10-20% water changes every week. but i want to stable it out because i'm finally stocking my tank with coral.

as of now, i'm using oceanic salt for mixing. i heard that oceanic salt have high amount of calc. and sometime too much. is having to much calc. a bad thing?
