Tony, I just had a new arrival. It is a AGA 90g with MegaFlow overflow. I am going for a different look on this one and will start a thread for the setup.

Aquascaping will be a larger mound against the back/left wall, a valley in the center and a small mound on the right still leaving room to clean the right glass. I am going to paint the back and left side black, the coraline algae will not be cleaned on them. I will be cleaning the front and right side of coraline algae and there will be a lot of room for the fish to swim.

I am hoping it will be sweet.

VHO were two URI super acntincs and URI two actnic white.
Now I have the two super acntnics with two MH. Most of corals look as nice or nicer under the new lighting , with the exception of the zoos, their color is nicest with alot of actnic. The MH lighitng makes it harder to get good pics, there is just alot more contrast from bright to not so bright areas, lots of blown highlights.

That will look very nice with the open areas. But do you think you will be able to have enough rock in there for bio? I think I first put 100 lbs in my 75, and it took up more room then that. You can always put alot of LR in sump/refuge to keep it open.

This may have already been asked and answered, but this thread is so long! Where did you get your HOB fuge?

I do not use the HOB fuge anymore, I built a fuge into my 50g sump.
But I got it on ebay, then I made changes to it.

Hi 143
Not really , its going good. I moved a pretty big rock to the sump to make more room in the front of tank, thats about it. I have been really busy with work and I just got a set of Novatron studio lights, so I have been spending tons of time on learning studio lighitng photography.

I like how you have lots of open water. I hate it when people just stack up live rock against the back wall to the point that their 75g tank only holds like 30g of water.

Yep, I went for the more open look as well. My old 55g was pretty full, even though it did not look to bad, I think I still prefer something along the line of an open look with good coral placement.

RJ your monti cap is very nice, so is this the rest of the tank. The reason I mention the monti section is that I have three color monti section on the right hand side of my tank , but I do not like my monti section. I like the left side of my tank , but I am tired of the right side. My orange monti is way tooo big, my purple one is not very colorful , and my green one grows too slow so you cannot see it. So I think I want to remove it all and replace with I do not know yet. I need to take pics so you can see.

When I moved tanks the Orange and Brown cap all came out with the one big rock, I then just set the green cap in there and now it has encrusted with all them thar caps over there. I like it, here is a look at the one big rock with the brown and orange.

this might have already been answered, but why does your signature say you have 2 175w MH, but on like page 4 you said you only have VHO lighting?

Tony, a year ago your tank insipired me to set-up my own 75 g. I've continued to follow your tank this last year and it's just getting better.

Here is a picture of my tank on it's 1st birthday.
