Very nice! I've been pondering getting a long gun for a while but I thin k I'll wait until I can get the Sig 556. For now, my Sig P220 .45 DAK FPR will have to hold me over...

From what I've heard it will be available shortly after christmas (in CT). Do you have a FFL or is a police affiliation enough to get silenced weapons?

We have silencers on all our M4's.. a couple of our firearms instructors have ffl's but being law enforcement we really don't directly deal with that red tape.. I guess you can say that it is the LE affiliation..Someone upstairs with the white shirts make the purchases..

We have the .50 cal here too..

If you think I suck now, hear this:

I am at work doing the DWI training for the recruits and I am BLASTED!

Imagine getting paid for this.. I would pull out the 50 cal but the sergeant is highly against it..

LOL

Nice man! i have a very similar one. is that a .308 or .223? Mine isn't as "hooked up" its pretty much bare bones but still nice to take to the range.

Wow. Thats a real deal M4 with the telescoping stock. What kind of can are you using and what type of sub sonic ammo are you running thru a normally 2800+ fps 5.56? Thats some sweet stuff. I like the red dot you have, but have you guys ever tried the Trijicon ACOG? It has a bullet drop compensator and everything right on it. When are we going to play with our toys??!!!!!

By the way, I love the new foregrips on those with the 4 sided picatinny rails, good place for tac lights, lasers, etc. And it looks meaner too.

I too would love a range day. I have my MA concealed carry permit, and a few non-resident states as well. CT has a screwy non-resident setup, so I don't have it here at this point. I have an AR-15 as well, a post-ban one (MA has some strict rules), but my favorite [rifle] is my Remington model 700 in 7mm Rem Mag. Knocks everyone back a bit.

We were out at the range one day an some Army "sniper types" (that what they claimed anyway) came over asking about it. They were using the 700 chambered in .308 in the Army and recognized the design. I spent 8 years active duty, but the coolest thing I played with was the M16A1 and a grenade launcher in basic, then just the A2 after that. Gees, you join Military Intel and they think you're just a "smart" guy and have o common sense and aren't interested in paying. Gees.

What kills me is the news story about the "deranged" lunatic with "hundreds of rounds of ammo." Give him a break, he just hasn't had time to stock back up! :-)

More guns than the wife wants to know about.

So how long till this one gets closed?
