Breathtaking to say the least.

What are the rules for making a rimless tank? What type of glass and how do you know how thick the glass should be?

Thanks

Andy, Apogon leptacanthus.

Leopard, you would have to contact Aquarium Environments in Houston to get those answers. I didnt make it From what naka told me, he uses formula's and mathemetics to find a limit.

Not much else going on over here. Just watching the SPS rock glamour up. I have a lot of brownies, but im seeing coloring on those corals finally. In a yr, they will all be blossomed out to its true potential.

I wonder how it works with territorial issues? I cannot imagine my maroons sharing an anemone with other fish. I mean, they host in 3 right now and won't let any fish near them. I call it the "Triangle of Pain"!

speedstar, whenever my corals grow we can definitely make a trade. Thanks for the offer once again.

cbui, i havent been using any glue. I just started to use Deltec's epoxy for the ponape birdnest naka gave me, but thats it. All the other frags go in crevices off the rocks side.

I've finally added the 20k Spotlight to the right side since the left one has been a success. When I turned it on today, it looks more purple than blue. It definitely doesnt illuminate like the 65K on the left side. The greens and blues off the corals fluoresce better and it also now gives the sunlight shimmer effect on the right side also. This a pic of only 2 150w spotlight on each side with the Giesemann T5's on only. Makes me wonder what it would look like if I double teamed the rock on the left with both 20k and 65k. hmmm

I'm also curious about getting a spotlight, where do recommend looking, and what options did you consider? Thanks.

I'm coming down to the Galveston trip in July that MARSH, MAAST and DFWMAS are participating in. Will you be attending?

I sent you guys a PM for the spotlight info. mcliffy, your inbox was full.

melev, sorry Im not going to the marsh gathering. Maybe some other time.

Charles, Im using a Giesemann Spectra, 72" - 3x250w SE 13K Marine & 4 80w T5's Giesemann Actinic Plus and ATI Blue Plus. I only use 2 of the MH's on that fixture as 3 is too powerful at 4 hrs/day.

mbunaman, thank you. I am always on the lookout for any nice colorful angel. Im also going to add some more blue spine cardinals.

russ, thats correct. There is minimal sand by the rocks though. I have an output from the CL behind the rocks that blows away any sand that gets behind them.

Maximus, I love GTR's. Ever since I have seen them in Japan many years ago and knowing they would never get here made them that much more desirable. Then they finally decided to sell them in the states. I cant wait until they go on sale next yr. There will also be a lot of competition that I also have my eye on. Im going to bring home something thats for sure and it has to be in the 400HP minimum range. Some of the new M5's have been catching my attention lately and would be perfect for my family of 4.

ataylo, thanks for the kind comments. I am very fortunate and love what this has become. This is a great hobby and keeps me at home with my family. Not only that, I have met great friends.
I myself am a car fanatic as well. I built myself a 450whp to the wheels Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. It is one sick car, AWD 3000lbs and a Tommy Makinen edition turbo. That is my first hobby.
