If I could afford it and liked it then Yes I would. If I could get the same steak some where else for $29.99 then I would go some where else.

I HATE EBAY! I never have and strongly doubt I ever will purchase a coral from there. I used to buy a lot of 49er memrobillia from there but after 1 bad seller I stopped. I never trust those auctions I always felt like the bids were false most of the time to increase the price!

Well that was an odd question.
Just because the 20 piece Chicken McNugget deal at McDonald's make me happy, doesn't mean I should pay $79.99 for them.

Okay, a nice juicy 24oz Porterhouse. Going price at most places is 20-30 dollars. You're telling me if those same places started offering the same steak for $249.99 you'd be happy to pay?

No, I wouldn't pay it. I'm just wondering why he/she (who did pay that price) is now saying that he/she wouldn't do it again, yet they are happy w/ their purchase? That seems a little odd to me, which is why I asked.

Well if I purchased one of Anthony's limited edition (unused) g-strings for 99.99, only to find them all over the place a few months later for .75 cents a pop, I'd be feeling a bit unhappy about my purchase. A little buyer's remorse is completely understandable in this situation.

I don't think he was ever unhappy with the coral, just unhappy with the purchase of the coral. You don't seem to be differentiating between the two.

If that's case then you will have remorse on everything you purchase. My 65" TV cost me $2800 and guess what 3 months later it was on sale for $1800 but I am still happy I bought it. I guess I just expect prices to go down on everything I buy at some point in time so I don't dwell on the past. Just my .02c

Peace

Well we can all say that! :P

I wish I would have waited to buy my truck until the Employee pricing was in effect. I wish I would have waited to buy my computer before the 3g pentiums came out. I wish I would have waited to get one of Anthony's g-.... er well I don't know about that last one anyway. Of course at $99 that might be a deal at twice the price for some folks

I mention this because many of these corals were indeed marketed as "Japanese."
I have several Lords I KNOW FOR A FACT are Australian. I got them from an LFS that was calling them "Favia" [nudge nudge wink wink] Don't tell anyone...

Actually now that I think about it, ALL my corals are Australian. Just the benefit of living in Australia I guess.

Seriously though, they WERE labelled as Favia, and I saw some nice red ones in another LFS labelled as "indented brains" whatever the hell that means. Typically a 5"-6" colony will go for around the US$30 mark but they're rarely if ever identified as Acans. They're just not that special or rare to warrant more attention to detail. Ricordias on the other hand are VERY rare and again you rarely see them labelled correctly (if you see them at all) but they are priced higher, not because they're Rics (the LFS usually wouldn't know the difference labelling them as fluffies or morphs etc) but more because they're brightly coloured.
