Looking for Air intake silencer

I have my skimmer almost completed but I will need to add silencers to the air intakes of the pumps. Right now it's like having a 18 wheeler in the living room...

I saw some pill bottle silencers and some pvc one on here a while back but can't find them any more.

Anyone have a idea of how to make one?

Thank you,

BK

The Design that eznet2u posted is an excellent design. I was suffering from the same dilema as you and found that a bubble counter from a old calcium reactor worked perfect, made the skimmer venturi dead silent. My point is that the tubes can enter the same side of a pvc enc cap or from either end with no bends and this will work just fine from my experiences. Just my two cents worth

Put a small bit of filter foam in eznet2u's design, and you've got silencer perfection
