Cheato

I need to trim my refug back, so if there is anyone that needs some cheato, its free for those who can pick it up. I am located in Chicago Heights IL. You can PM me if interested, if not I will have to throw it out this weekend.

Why would I want to post in the selling forum, I am giving it away! After I posted this one, I did post in the local club forum. Hopefuly someone can benefit from it, I would hate to just toss it, but Oh well. Thanks for the advice though!

You can ship it USPS Priority 2-3 days and it will arrive just fine.

Brian, thanks for the cheato. Very generous of you. It's nice to see reefers helping out other reefers instead of just throwing the stuff away. I really apprieciate it.

You really have a nice tank. Since you gave me the cheato for free, I took the liberty of testing your water while I tested mine this morning. Here's your readings.

Calcium - 450
Alk - 8.5 dkh
Mag - 1260
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate 35ppm or so
Phosphate 0.5

All in all, looks pretty good my friend. Keep up the great job.

Chaetomorpha...the best macroalgae out there. Will not go sexual in your tank and crap it out and it does not need rock to attach to. Great stuff and perfect haven for growing pods (copepods/amphipods)

Watch out for those PO4 readings... 0.4 is at stress level. Nitrates should be fine at 35

That was a one time cleanout for Brian. I just happened to live close to him. Keep an eye on the boards. There are plenty of reefers shipping chaeto out there.
