Scolymia expelling?

Hello,

I was looking at my tank tonite and out of nowhere my Scolymia starting expelling this whitish/stringy stuff. I had just fed Cyclopeeze about 20 mins before. Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else?

It's hungry when it does that. Feed it some silver sides when it does that, and sit back and watch the show.

when mine does that I feed it some squid and watch it close up like a fist and swallow, it's pretty cool.

you should target feed it once a week or so.

try some meaty foods besides the cyclopleze like silversides or kril, squid ect.

they will really appreciate it.
notice the white squid meat that it is consuming.

I try and feed it more than it needs because my clown and the hermits try to steal his dinner.
