Are they going to spawn?
Okay, I have an ocellaris pair is exhibiting some strange behavior. The male seems to twitch while positioning himself next to the female. I have a large condalactis anenome but they seem to rather use a small patch of hair algae on the back wall of my tank. They both sleep there at night next to each other. The male is always following the female wherever she goes. I thought that these might be signs that they are going to spawn.

The twitch is the male showing submission to the female. Go to the Clownfish and Anemone forum and read the FAQ's and you will get all the info you ever could want!.

If there were going to spawn they start by cleaning about a 2" to 3" dia patch of rock or nearby surface were they will attach the eggs.
