How many can live together

How many fish can a reef tank handle? I have a 125 with live rock. Does the type of fish matter and what about inverts and corals, how many of those? Just curious, thanks.

Thats a pretty open question, your going to get about a thousand answers. You need to be alot more specific.

that's a loaded question! If you are thinking about adding things like that i would first take into consideration what you can keep with your current lights & flow more important decide the fish families you are looking to keep cause that may drop your coral/invert number way down!

ive been told.....depending on the type....that you can keep roughly 1inch of fish per 5 gal of tank.
