acrylic protective paper

Is it ok to leave the protective paper on the bottom side of a big acrylic tank? It will not show under my substrate anyway but I can anyone think of a reason I need to remove it. I removed about three inches around the edge but will have to turn the tank on its side to remove the rest.

Thanks

I kept mine. If anything, if the substrate blows away, it will still have the same color.

it'll be fine, I left mine on too. It prevents light leaking up from the refugium too.
