Help on ID
I just set up my tank a few days ago, and I was looking around in it for life when I found this:
I was just wondering what it was and if it was good/bad/does nothing. They're all over this one piece of rock and they look kind of cool. (they have the coolest smileys at this place ) |

Yeah, I mean that red thing in the center of the picture, with the short, stubby branches coming off of it. |

Really? I'm cycling, so I guess that they won't be so happy by the end.

You'd be surprised... Mine were on the rock when I first put them in, and they just didn't seem to grow during the cycle. They started really growing about 6 months later.

Give your a tank a year and you'll be amazed at what you find.
Live rock is one of the coolest parts of this hobby imo. |

Do you need to add any food specifically for them, or is what's naturally in a tank good enough for them?
