looking for a thread

I tried doing a search but im not sure what the thread was called. Someone on here made a overflow "box" out of pvc pipe. I thought i saved the thread but i guess not. Anyone know what im talking about?

No the one i am referring to the guy made it like an hob over flow but out of pvc.

that one is really old.. but i do recall dhnguyen has a set of those overflow on his new tank.. maybe ask him .. ( sorry D )

BTW, built one of these for my 110 gal, its been running with no problems for about 4 months now

Using it with an overflow would give you much better surface skimming. That's the one thing I didn't do with mine that I really wish I would've done.
