Protein Skimmer

Hello reef mates, my protein skimmer does not seem to be collecting or generating the bubbles to skim the bad materials from my 150? Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Is is not producing any bubbles? If it is not, the venturi is likely clogged and needs some cleaning.

Yes, no bubbles in the chamber. I will clean it tomorrow and see what happens.

Thanks

Take the venturi tube and run some warm freshwater through it and you'll pry get some bubbles again.

This may sound like a dumb question, but is the venturi located at the base of the protein skimmer.

no, the "venturi" is an aspirating venturi and is located on the intake of the pump....make sure that is where the air line is
