ATI Bubble Master Skimmers
Looking for feedback on these guys. I am looking for a skimmer for my 180 gallon SPS tank.
Any comments are appreciated. Thanks. Herb |

They are good. I think there are several threads with people's reviews and thoughts.

I just set up a 250 on a 110 gallon tank. The skimmer is a beast. The bubbles in the chamber are super find and turn the water in the chamber almost a milky white.. I think is it a great skimmer for the money. The only down side I see is the sicce pumps. I read some where that there were reliability issues with the pumps.

Tunze uses those pumps for their skimmer, so I dont know about there being reliability issues.

I have the BM 200 on my 90 gal w 30 sump and it seems just right for my set up. I suspect that you would probably be better off with the 250. I have the gate valve adjustment on mine and it has worked great for me for 9 months now. I have cleaned the pump twice but haven't had to replace the mesh at all. It doesn't even get clogged with any dirt which was a concern of some early on. I would wholeheartedly reccommend these skimmers.

I'm using a BM250 on my 200 reef with a fairly heavy coral load of softies, LPS and a couple SPS, and well stocked fish and inverts.
It's been running flawlessly for almost 5 mos now, with one major cleaning to the skimmer. |
