How long have you had yours?

I am told these are a hit/miss and require lots of nutrients.

Here are a few goddies I got today.

Wireless Thermometer, less restrictive 1.5" strainers and some yo-yo light fixture hangers (13lb of tension each).

Now I can raise/lower my light without swearing

Well it seems these corals need to be target fed. He had no problems eating this 1cm long piece of krill.

My HD sells schd. 80 pvc that looks very similar to XENON's, it should be in the same aisle as the white schd 40 stuff.

Home Depot or Lowes wont sell it.

I bought it from my local plastic shop called PVC plus.

This stuff is not rare, it's just more comercial.

Ok i see, I was wondering where to find that pvc cause I looked in HD and lowes and didn´t see. All I found was the grey conduit pipe in the electrical section. Now I got something new to go and hunt down, PVC PLUS!!!!!

Wow, that sun coral is fantastic. The whole tank is looking great, xenon. Where did you get the light hangers from?

Cool naso. I think I might put one in my tank. Your PBT was established before you put the naso in right? Is it a blonde naso?

You did a GREAT job on your rockwork and placement of your corals.
Your tank looks amazing~! I can’t wait to see what it will look like as a mature reef.

I had my powder blue first but he got ich so i took all my fish out and placed them in QT. Before I dropped the salinity, I bought this naso. They were put back in at the same time.

They are best buddies now.

He is about as laid back as a fish can get.

He is not a blonde naso.. I wish!!

Can I put one in if a powder brown tang has been in the tank for about a month? He is so passive, but maybe not after established?

Yep.. I dont see any problem at all. Like I said, naso tangs seem to be laid back and can get allong with any fish IMO.

I feed him krill about 2x per week. It's slowly starting to brown up

It was pretty bleached when i got him.

It looks like my powder blue "might" have ich again. I do see one white dot on his body so I am going to attempt to take the fish out again without tearing the tank down.

I built an acrylic box with a trap door. I placed noori inside and have not fed them for 24hrs.

Wish me luck!
