How Many Inverts?

Fire Shrimp
Pistol Shrimp
Sexy Shrimp
Peppermint Shrimp

45 gallon tank with lots of live rock. Unfortunately the rock has some algae - bubble and otherwise.

I was considering an emerald crab or two.

Do you think it'd be ok given my list of critters?

a couple of cerrith snails for the algae and an emerald for the bubble would work in a 45.

Not sure about the sexy shrimp, but the pistol, fire, and peppermint should be fine. Never really looked into sexy's

I'm most concerned about the pistol having a snack.

looks good, i have 4 different shrimp in my 20G and they get along fine... might not want sexy shrimp tho, they are tiny and can go missing in a 45G very easily.

no, the pistol wont go after other things. For one, they're very close to blind (or they are completely blind, cant remember). But For the sake of this, they got pretty bad eyesight. Thats why they always pair up w/a watchman goby (hence the name of the watchman goby i believe...).

But they arent gonna go after any other shrimp or anything. Mantis would, but pistols do not. The pistols dont actually punch stuff w/their claws like mantis do. They just make a loud pop to scare stuff off.

I would worry the least about the pistol and worry more about the sexy or the fire.
