H2O too Stale?

Thanks for your time.

Three weeks ago, I mixed up a batch of water to perform a water change. I've been really busy lately and didn't get a chance to perform the change. Should I scrap this batch and make new?

The water has been aging in a large Sterlite container with a Mag 5 running 24x7 for 3 weeks. The container has been covered but not air tight.

Should be fine. Personally I'd add an airstone.

add a powerhead for circulation & to break the surface, an airstone will raise pH to high. as long as there are no nutrients in it, it will last indefinatly as long as it has movement.
