Coral Beuty chageing colour

I have had my coral beuty about a year now and over time he has lost all the yellow/orange on him. Now his body is a solid deep purple colour with the blue strip around his tail fin, he still has yellow side fins though.

What could have caused this?

He/she grew up.

I own a Fiji Coral Beauty. When I first bought the fish, its body was predominately yellow/orange/red. I've had the fish for 5 years and gradually it has become a deep purple with yellow/orange/red stripes and irradescent blue highights.

Not a flashy fish but beautiful none the less.
