Potters Angel

I have a 55. In it I have a maroon clown 2 firefish goby and 4 cleaner shrimp. Will it be ok to place the potter in my tank.

Also if it's ok what other type of angel would get along with it.

Thank you

I have heard them to be reef safe but every fish is different.

I would watch the maroon clown - they can be aggressive customers at times, you may need to rearrange your rockwork if he takes a dislike to your Potter's.
Also, you didn't mention but, I do not recommend any angelfish in tanks that have not been running for a year or so, as they rarely have the abundant algae and micro-organisms that angels need to browse on for best results.
Potter's angels, at least in my experience, are a little tricky to get started on aquarium foods and should be quarantined for at least 3-4 weeks during which time you should be able to get him used to trying a couple of different foods.
That said, once you do have him eating and adjusted he should do well for you in your 55.
Good luck to you!!

Thanks guys. My lfs has some potters arriving on Sunday. They have a couple of african flame backs. Both look great and would like to put them in my tank but afraid that they won't get along. Some have had good results and some not.

Thanks again for your input.
