Does your sixline wrasse bother any other fish? Mine is mean as all get out to my little green clown goby. I would guess it is normal but heck, seems like all my fish are just opposite of how they 'typically' act.

Either that is one heck of a camera, or you have some awesome skill at photography.
I think he has both! You must have a lot of patience to take those pics weatherson.

My sixline doesn't bother anyone, that includes the 2 yellow clown gobies in the tank.

NexDog: Hopefully in a good way. Thanks.

Marc: I still have to most of the credit to the camera but the more I learn of its abilities and functions, the better I get. The shots of the Heniochus and Blue Damsels were definitely easier than the Sixline Wrasse. That guy was making me dizzy trying to keep up with his movements. I used a flash on the Sixline only and it was the integrated camera's flash. I will add that it helps to have a camera that is capable of rapid fire shooting and a 80X, Pro model CF card. Both allow for fast, consecutive multiple shots of which, if you are lucky, a couple are good quality. I also used autofocus in the center weighted mode. Glad you liked the shots and thanks.

Awright & Greg : Thanks for the kind words and it's good to know they are enjoyed.

elephen: Interesting that you would ask if the Sixline is aggressive with shots of the Blue Devil Damsels included. No, the wrasse is a model citizen compared to the Damsels (I have two) and never bothers anything in the tank. Too many times I have been nipped by the Damsels while my hand was in the tank. And I'm not talking a slight peck here, more a full on bite. They may be the reason I build an acrylic fish trap.

Will: Thanks and yes, patience is definitely required.

Here's a few more photos. Not the best I've done but figured I'd share just the same.

Jealous?

I have seen many of your pictures Marc but I think that Joseph is a little more anal when it comes to photoshop.

Makes for nice pictures though.

I saw this legendary tank with my own eyes when I picked up a frag a few weeks back.
Unbelievably gorgeous.

Joseph...

Well, I've been reading along quietly for awhile now, but I can't be quiet no mo!!!!! I'm not sure if I like your overall tank better or the unbelievable macros you've been sharing. Please keep posting them...I'm pretty sure you'll get tired of taking them before we all get tired of looking at them. Once again, unbeleivable!!!

More equipment room pics! (I'm shamelessly copying your ideas for my "fish closet").

CLOSET??

That is a whole room and it looks like it is going to take over another.

Yeah, I realize that Weatherson's room is an entire room, I was referring to the size of MY setup. It's literally about the size of three or four closets and was actually built from extending an actual coat closet into a fish room.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. More photos to follow.

Jarhed: I plan to move the weight machine out of the fish room shortly. Once I do, I'll be able to get a new updated equipment shot.

This first photo I took of a pod or shrimp, not sure which, that made a tunnel in the sand against the glass today. The closed loops move the sand in this area back and forth. At the time of this photo, the sand was shifted away and his tube was exposed. If you look at the very bottom of the tube, you can see him hanging upside-down. Keep in mind that the grains of sand are Southdown. That should give you a good idea of the scale here.

You have a WEIGHT machine in your fish room??????????????????????????????????????? Geez! that room IS big!!!

Ya know, your photography skills are absolutely stunning! I'm not sure where you learned that, but maybe I'll have to copy that from you too??

Ok, time to go back to copying and miniaturizing Weatherson's setup...

Absolutely delicious images! Do you turn off the pumps when you take your pictures?

jarhed: The tank room used to be a bedroom. Thanks for the kind words.

Marc: Yes, I turn the current off in the tank for photos. Thanks.
