are all flatworms bad?
I have a little "guppy box" full of fire engine red macro and chaeto. I just noticed today about 5 brown flatworms inside the box. There are probably more. They are only inside this box, and nowhere else. Should I get rid of them? SHould I assume they are bad?

Depends on how you look at things. Some flatworms are harmless and fine to leave in your tank. Then there are the red ones which are a bit of a nuisance, and toxic if they should die in large numbers. then there are large ones which have varied diets but for the most part are predatory on things you probably want in your tank.
Small and brown are probably okay, but the line between brown and red is fine depending on the lighting. Can you post a pic?

I found more with bright red inside them. I annihilated them. They were all inside my little guppy box, so I took it out and put it in the sink and soaked it in FW. I haven't seen anymore. But I do see a couple little clear ones, like a half a cm big, chasing my pods on the glass. I smoosh them when I see them. I feel bad for doing that, but I like pods.
