mushroom eat goby?
I have a red Discosoma? sp "bullseye" mushroom about 4" in diameter. I found my Stonogobiops nematodes goby protruding from its mouth tonight, all wrapped up in a white mucous-cocoon. The goby was alive and well last night, eating cyclops and mysis as usual. This goby never ventured out of his 3 inch radius. He lived down-current from the mushroom, also, so I don't think he died and then his body happened upon the mushroom. He would've been blown away from the mushroom if he had died first. The mushroom has been growing, and it was somewhat close to the hole where the goby lived. I just can't figure out what happened
