poor water quality my fish are loosing their bright colors
I am breaking down my 55 that doesnt have the greatest water quality . i do a 5 percent water change every week and have a preety good skimmer hooked up to it , but have around 10 to 15 fish i have one #6 koralia hooked up to it but have some deasd spots and too much of a bio load . I noticed one or two of my fish have been loosing their bright colors , i am upgrading everything this week to a 90 gallon drilled tank with a aqua medic metal hylide fixture with 2 150 watt 14k bulbs and a deltec 600 skimmer new rowa phas in my phos ban reactor and going to run carbon .
do you think this change will bring back their color ?? thanks for your help |

Good water quality and vitamins should bring the some color back. It could be also the species of fish, some lose the color in captivity, some lose color when there isn't a mate to impress. It all depends. What kind of fish are we talking about?

I think less fish and a good aquarium tech will help! AND STOP BUYING CHEAP HALF DEAD FISH FROM DEAD STORES!
