recirc mod

i have a sedra 3500 NW and a CSS 65 lying around
could i hook the sedra up in recirc mode to the css body?
if i can what size uniseals should i used and what size pvc is needed to connect it?

you can, the sedra's input is 1" and the output is 1/2.. it'd be a good idea to put the outlet and inlet on unions so you can take the pump off if needed, and don't forget a venturi.

check out www.randystacye.com on his skimmer pages at the recirc's, it'll show kind of how to hook stuff up.

so i would need these uniseals?
Uniseals, 1/2" pipe size, 0.84" pipe o.d., 1 1/4" holesaw size
Uniseals, 1" pipe size, 1.31" pipe o.d., 1 3/4" holesaw size

i do believe you're correct. I'd order directly from aussieglobal.com, it'll be cheaper and the shipping is generally less than from the MO's since they have a standard base rate they go off of.

There's only a few standard sizes they come in and they're the regular pvc sizes.
