Ok, just modded my 6025 (In case you wanna do it here is the link..I used pliers..LOL)..and HOLY CRAP! it pushes just as much water as my 6055..LOL..here is a video..

6055 on the left...6025 on the right..

that is the same link I used, crazy how much more it flows just by cutting that part out. I also noticed that no pump was more quiet after modding it

It is a HUGE difference..It took me 2 minutes and some pliers and it came out really clean.

I guess I'll have to wait till my 6025s get here, but all those mod thread pics look really confusing... i think its becasue everything is black plastic... makes it hard to tell whats going on...

Rutz,

I dont know man.. has anybody done it??.. I havent even opened it so see what it looks like.. Id give it a shot but..they are kinda pricey..LOL..So i want to make sure i dont screw it up..

I tried switching the case from the 6055 to the 6025 and they don't match.. different clips.

If anybody mods a 6055, let me know how that works out..

I've modded both my 6025s and 6055s. Same thing, both a lot more flow. They have the same parts, but the housing is a little different. The housing is only $12, so if you screw it up, it shouldn't be a big deal. I also heard that Tunze will warranty any pump, even if it is modded.
