Talking Zack is 5 months old today

well zack turns five months old. he's such a wonderful baby, he learned to roll from back to tummy at 4 months and he learned at 3 1/2 months to roll from tummy to back....now he can do rasberries he so loves doing that, he loves to play peek a boo, and to be tickled, when fernando (blk white kitty) comes to sit with him he reaches over very excitedly and pets him i think they are going to be best buds well here are a few pictures i'll post more later.

Shanna, he's so cute. He could be in commercials!!!!!! I can't believe it's been five months already. Doesn't it blow your mind how quickly the time flies? Take lots of pictures and videos so you don't forget these great times. Give him a big hug for me.

I do think that I would have to get out of the hobby when I do have a child though. I would want to be with him/her all the time and I know I would forget about everything else!

it's tough, the tanks in the begining really got neglected the rest of the zoo i have was fine, and adapted well to their new sibbling.

i'm so fortunate to be able to stay home with him, hubby has a good enough job for that. and plus it made BF easy. didn't have to worry about pumping or any of that. just when i needed too for us to go out and he can stay with nana.

Shanna-I love to hear other parents that adore their children! I will call my mother all the time just to say, "Have I told you recently that my kids are the best?" As they get older it becomes a truckload of work, but they pay you back in the best ways! Just don't ever underestimate what they can learn during this time. They really are little sponges! And the kicker is they retain the bad just as easily as the good! Give sweet little Zack smooches from all of us!

oh i give him smooches all the time, eveything he has is educational. and since he was a few weeks old i've read him stories. he gets 3 -5 stories read to him a day. and i just love watching him do new things and the joy in his eyes is just undescribable. and the joy i feel when he does do something new is just awsome.

i sure hope so, eric can't wait for him to get older and he and zack can do things together. it's really hard to have a bad day with zack,

after the fire incedent, eric was kinda bumbed out and took that friday off from work and the only thing that cheered him up was to have zack give that wonderfull toothless grin, what makes it so wonderful is their innocence and that they are so wonderfully blissfull ignorence........it's just such a wonderfull thing to be that young and not have a care in the world. it's what eric lives for to get out of work to come straight home to pick up his boy and have him smile and giggle.........it's just so heart warming........

I still remember the day when Claudia (my oldest) was about Zacks age and we worked on what was a ball and what was a cup and how to put the ball in the cup. Then I handed her the ball and asked, "Can you put the ball in the cup?" She thought for a minute, then very slowly reached over and grabbed the cup and put the ball in it. You'd have thought she solved world hunger with the commotion that went on!! I was sooooo proud of her...sigh, it's the little things in life!

Now that my kids are older and we are having more teen-aged battles, I often call my mother and thank her for not killing me when I was their age!!!!!!!!

Ladies, enjoy your babies while they're this age. It just goes by so darn quickly. Can't believe my baby boy is off to college in a year!!!!

Hi Shannon,

Happy five month for Zack.
He's a cute, a lovely little boy.
My Nils is 9 month tomorrow and I don't remember.. where has the time gone?
I have a book where I notice all the little things he does...first smile, first rolling, first tooth.
Now he's jumping like a frog, sittig on his hand and knees and go on his tip of the toe. It looks funny, but he comes anywhere he want to.
Enjoy the time with your cute pie.

bye Claudi

Cute pics.

Just wait, if you ever decide to have kid #2, the picture taking goes down precipitously...no matter how cute they are.
