thats awesome....wish it was the same here.

Well, he's technically an "it"--he lost the jewels when he was just a wee kitten. Maybe some neuticals would make him feel better, LOL.
Get him some Pitt Bull sized ones............that'll learn em

My sister-in-law's cat does this attack thing too.

The best is when you're lying down and he climbs up on you for attention, head-butting and everything. And then, bam, out of nowhere, he tries to take a chuck out of your chin.

Sometimes there are warning signs, sometimes there aren't.

I keep cans of Dust-Off around the house. I just release a short burst of air (not pointing at them). They all hate and/or fear the sound for some reason. It's to the point now where if they're doing something wrong, just my reaching for a can makes them run for cover.

I once had an old female Persian cat (15 years old) that did the attack thing for no reason. I think she had some arthritis - and that is what caused her sudden outbursts. Do you think some of these cats have arthritis, and when you touch them in certain places or if they move in certain ways this could be the problem?

Just a thought from a fellow catlover.

He's very nimble, and he definitely has specific spots that he likes to be petted. It seems like he gets into it just a little too much--his pupils dilate, then watch out. When he's lying on the floor, the belly is always off limit.

I use the squirt bottle method to keep him off of the counters, etc. and that works, but he strikes too often for it to really be effective for the biting. I also tried the double-sided tape on the counters--that really seemed to do the trick as well.
