meetpierre, I used to have a 35 gal. seahorse tank. Had it for 5 years. When the horses died I got away from that....thinking about getting back into it though. They are so much fun!! Tina

cmjreef I'm guessing he's running "2 X 175 watt Iwasaki 15K aqua 2's supplemented by 2 X 110 watt actinic VHO's"
Just kidding, it's in his tank description.

Well I'm working on a 90g inwall but my 72g just isn't worth posting. I don't know how you guys do it. I've worked so hard at learning about my tank and nothing goes right for very long. Things grow... then die. All these pics are making me depressed. I've been at this for three years and still don't have any nice sized corals......

No one should get discouraged by this thread. It's intended to be inspirational.
This really isn't a problem solving thread, but my first question would be what test kits do you have?
There is a reef club based in Erie, Pa (here's a link to their website):
http://www.eriereefclub.com/index.php
seek help among your reefkeeping neighbors. Seek help wherever and whenever you can.
You can grow corals large and keep them alive. You just need to keep plugging away and find out what the problem is.
This thread is several years old and actually eclipses pictures of my previous aquarium (on page one) and my new one (we moved and I lost a lot of my livestock in the move). Basically, I had to start over. I seriously thought about quitting. I'm glad that I didn't. It's been about a year since I started up my new aquarium. Here's what it looked like today
