OMG you didn't look hard enough if you couldn't find a starbucks

and you and reading those instructions. you would think for a big coffee drinker you wouldn't have to use the instructions anymore.

and yes I did find the instructions to my camera and i swear it is written in japan as i don't understand a word it says. lol guess i'm not a camera guy

but still was great meeting you, hope you had a great time in SD. and meeting with all of us.

Don't worry Lunch, It can take awhile but the smell does eventually go away. Try some of that Frabreezes stuff, works well to cover it up.

Those rays are AWESOME! I was in Destin Florida in August and again in September, both times there were sting rays right at the shore and I swam around with them. In September there was a pair swiming together.

The shark is from Australia. Chuck will have to ID it for us.

It's nice to be home. Everything needed to be topped off, the suncorals are eating mysis as I type this, and more RO/DI water is being made up to be stored for when it is needed in a few days.

The tank looks fine, but I don't know for sure how everything is. I got home in time, but all my timers were still on DST and thus the lights were out already.

After a quick search on the web, it looks like a spotted wobbegong.

Good to hear that everything's in place when you came home, Marc. That's always the part I hate about leaving for trips - wondering if everything is going to be there when you get back.

Been suffering from the day light savings time jet lag myself... Now even your tank is on DLST lag

I'm sure all is well!

It's a nice shark alright. Seen a few at the Sydney Aquarium, amazing creatures. I would love to own one.
Are they hard to care for?

Good eating to I believe

Cheers

It seemed pretty easy to feed when I was there. The only 'problem' was the stingrays are so hungry even though they are fed very well. They just land on top of the shark and turn on their vacuum mouths. I think the shark will soon be fending them off so that he can eat in peace. It was eating silversides, cut in half at the moment until it is used to that food.

EDIT: Micki, the reason is because RC wasn't accepting the post, and I'd just retry and retry until it finally goes through. I guess the notifications work perfectly though.

Glad to hear everything went well while you were away. Half my tank died over the weekend with a few more hanging on the edge currently. at some point I really want to take a trip down and see your setup.

The "Master Tester" hard at work. Now I feel much more confident that I have been using the tests correctly as Marc's result were very close to the same results I have been getting.

Woohoo! My water change article is finally online. I wrote it for my site but gave it to Reefkeeping Online first and they used it.
