My roomate's addicted to it! Everybody else will be in the backyard grilling out, drinking and he'll be inside playing WOW (World of Warcraft). I just don't get it. I watched him play one night and I can honestly say I'd rather watch dry paint dry.

I had played for a few months....just stopped one day and canceled my account. It's more fun if you have someone to play with (without joining a guild)

Dumb... my boyfriend and I played it for the last two years and just sold our accounts about a month ago. We missed out on so much during these last two years that its not even funny. The game is so heavily based off of raiding now that you can't even do anything fun while you're with yourself or one other person. Boo on it.

On the plus side though, we got $1500 for my account, and $1250 for his. It got us a new washer/dryer.

Though I love the premis and what I've seen of it, I must give it a dumb vote. I've watched my 28 year old sister completely give up her life for the game. She sleeps around the "good raids" and never eats anything that can't be consumed one handed. She is married and has a so called life; but her husband is just as bad.
I know all things are good in moderation; but I've never seen anyone able to be moderate with this game. Sorry to those of you who are moderate. I pray that there are some of you out there. (BTW, I don't need to read 20 posts about how you can be moderate)

This poll is like asking "is playing monopoly cool or dumb"... Its a game some will like and some dont. I enjoy it every once in a while but it can get boring just like everything else.

I'd pick playing it over watching most mainstream sports, however.

I wouldnt consider it dumb (I just cancelled my account a few days ago). I play online games like that through the winter months when I cant really get outside and do anything but during the summer, Im going to the world of Atlantic Ocean, you will find me on the beach or trying hard to get there. But when winter time rolls around again, Ill probably play some other online game for a while, but not warcraft again, its boring now. Seen most of it, done most of it . . boring now.

Anything in moderation is correct. When you start obsessing over it, its time to step away and come back to reality.

I used to really like it, but when my brother left for college, it got boring really quick. I'd still say it's cool though. Although, the more you guys post about it, the more it sounds like a heroin addiction or something like that.

I stopped playing more than a few hours a week sometime ago, I do however run bots 1-70 and sell the accounts. I still raid with my guild sometimes on my personal account, but when I get bored I let the bot finish the raid
