I've never used a 3, but I have that problem with a 2. It eventually comes back on, but it takes like an hour. I've never tried to fix whatever is wrong with it. It's probably just a piece of junk. It only goes off when the power goes off, so it doesn't happen often. And my 1's have always worked fine.

Oh, you just bought it? I'd send it back. Mine worked fine for a while. I'd send it back, but it doesn't really bother me.

Just call or e-mail Hydor, their CS is excellent and they will probably send you a new one right out.

ya if it dont work its not going to work if you leave it plugged in . it happens you got a defective item .

i installed a brand new OEM ac delco altonator one day . and spent some time installing it was on a front wheel drive car . and start it up and was charging at 16 - 18 volts . man was i ****ed , because i had to R&R it again . but it does happens its sort of the nature of the beast with electronics some times .

Have you plugged something else into the socket you are using, to make sure it is "on"?

I have three koralias and no issues, but there are duds in just about everything in life from time to time.

Good luck sorting it out....

Try pulling the front off of it and reinstalling it. When I bought my 4 and plugged it in, it didn't work either. the front of the shaft was binding for some reason. I took the front off and reinstalled and it has worked fine ever since.
