Almost all fish hide in rocks. Define colorful, If you want yellow, a yellow choris wrasse is very active and loves to show off. My wife really likes strawbery pseudochromis. They are colorful, cheap, but may become territorial. There are so many fish available you might want to pick out a few that you like, and then ask specific questions about those fish.

Clown fish. Royal gamma can be good too, at times they can be aggressive to other basslets.

here is a compatibility chart

I definitely woudlnt recommend the coris wrasse, I got one about 3 months ago. Right when I put it in the tank, it hid under the sand, and I havent seen it since. I have two tangs, a few chromis and a pair of clowns in my 125. The tangs are very shy, and hide all day long, the chromis are not shy, but arent very colorful, but the clown fish are my favorite, they are very pretty, and never ever hide. They are false perculas.

Hippo tang, yellow tail damsels (not very agressive), six line wrass, purple psudechromis, perculas, tomato, or cinamon clown.
I have 3 dwarfs in my 90, they get along fairly well, and do not touch any corals. I hae a variety of soft, and lps. hope this helps. Also you could consider a fairy wrasse or leapard wrasse.

Then its most likely dead. Mine is out all the time.

I'd reccomend Halichoeres Melanurus, H.Ornatissimus, or H.Chrysus (yellow coris). All pretty, all out all the time.
