Who folds their underwear while doing laundry?

I have now adapted the "no-fold" philosophy. We'll see how well this works out. I have to say though that my socks/underwear/towels wash was quickly dealt with out of the dryer! So far I'm liking it.

I fold everyone's laundry, even the underwear. I don't match socks. They all go in the "sock basket" and we all rummage through there everyday for a matching pair.

Some underwears are too little to fold, I fold the boyfriend's boxers but should just pile and shove in a drawer because that's what he does.

I always fold my underwear, and I arrange them in the drawer according to style, fabric (no, not lace, so don't even go there Debi!), and pattern. It makes it really easy when picking a pair out--there's something for every occasion.

My wife does this silly thing where typically we'd be folding laundry while watching TV, then she'll quietly put a (clean) pair of underwear on her head and wait to see how long it takes for me to notice. Since I'm folding and watching TV, it sometimes takes a while. My part of the joke is that when I finally notice, I try to keep a straight face and pretend nothing is out of place. Like I'll notice then say "Did you get new glasses?" or something. Eventually neither of us can take the stupidity of the situation and RTFLOL (as they say in internet speak).

Yep - all undies get folded.

Altho ms. dkh's occasionally get into a wad - but that has nothing to do with laundry.

Coral Diver, that reminds me that I have a friend who folds his underwear using a RULER to make sure it's folded straight (like the retail employees at The Gap who fold the shirts back after you look at them). That's a bit too much.

I think I haven't folded underwear for the last 18 years. That's how long I've been married. My wife does my laundry and underwear folding. Socks too (but she rolls those).

I probably should feel some guilt about that. But I don't.

I mean after all I'm the one who has to listen to all the complaints that about all of my undershirts, underweare and socks being inside out.

I guess they all got that way when I pulled them off at night.

Wife does not like having to turn them right side out every time she did the laundry. But why does she cares which side is out ?
I'm the one wearing it ? and I don't care so why should she ?
Can anyone explain this ?

I mean, they are white on both sides and look pretty much the same whether inside out or not.

I suppose if I didn’t wear a shirt over them, I might give a hoot.

Oh well... I dare not ask my wife these questions though.
