How mank K?

I am setting up my 110 and it will have 2 x 250 watt SE fixtures and a 440 watt VHO set up, what k ratings do you suggest for the halides? The VHO will have 3 actinics and 1 day light, I like to have a very slight blue tint. The set up will also have a 55 gal. sump and 38 gal. fuge.

Suggestion

I would suggest you look at the spectral charts of the SE and VHO units. That will show you what spectrum range you are loading on.

I would be more concerned with finding out the normal depth of the coral you intend to keep and addressing that issue through CCT or Kelvin if you must.

Good Luck!
