Question safe place for frags?

Where does everyone else keep their new frags if you don't have a frag tank? I've seen those egg crate type thingy that you can place in the tank and put frags on top of.. where can I buy something like that?

Thanks in advance

I riddle most all of my rocks in the reef with holes so I can hang frags any angle anywhere I want.

simply drill a shallow hole into tiny pieces of rubble. glue a piece of thin acrylic rod to it..........this acrylic rod and frag "plug" goes into the holes you have drilled.

especially for sps you get much better lighting to the frags this way than hanging off the side of the tank. I do have a mag float with eggcrate glued to it I use soemtimes as well.....

you can get the egg crates at home depot or lowe's in the lighting department. They use it for light diffuser

okay, a lighting rack thing, a couple plastic hangers and 4 rubberbands later... I have a frag rack that hangs from the top of my tank!, it doesn't touch the side of the plexi, just the top so I have less worry that the pods will find their way to my frags. I can just lift the thing out and store it away when I'm not using it

You may want to replace the rubberbands with cable ties. Over time the rubberbands will degrade and fail.
