you took the symbols right out of my mouth tyler.

sounds awesome, though. josh, could you give me an idea of what exactly the zeovit system does, and what you have to do to maintain a zeo tank? i was reading about it the other day, but i think it might be easier to have somebody who uses it to give me a quick rundown. i realize that it uses special feeding, and the zeolites to remove nutrients.

zeovit: either removes nutrients or is home for bacteria

zeostart: bacteria food, removes PO4

zeobak: bacteria solution

zeofood: food for corals/bacteria

you dont really have to do much to maitain a zeotank. just the regular maintenance plus some dosing of zeostuff. thats about it. oh, and 10% water change weekly.

ill think about becoming a zeohead...

in other news, yesterday after the water change, my nitrates were down to about 2.5. hooray! tonight at about 8 im gonna pick up the clowns. it was funny. today i was at my lfs, and somehow that came up that im buying two clowns from some other guy. they asked if his name was rich (which it is) and showed me that he had sold them some. haha. they were selling them for over 3 times the price he sold them to the store though !. hes selling them $8 a piece, two for $15, and the store was selling them for $25 a pop. i picked up a magfloat and i love it. also got Anthony Calfo and Bob Fenner's book, Reef Invertebrates. i want to pick up reef fishes and Cnidarians.
