I finally found a pink yuma!

I have been searching for a quality pink yuma for quite some time but haven't had much luck. Yesterday I drove 4 hours each way to a frag swap and worked out some trades with some friends. Near the end of the frag swap, I took one last trip around and found a person with a lot of Blast M. frags. I didn't care much about the blasto frags but as I was talking with him, he handed me a photo folder to browse through. The last picture was of an orange yuma that was labeled "Orange-Pink yuma." Just because I had a few bucks, I asked to see the yuma and when I put it under the lights...whammo!!! the colors just exploded. This picture was taken two hours after it went into the tank. It is 3" and I paid $100 for it. I have never paid anything close to that because I simply don't have that kind of money. On this purchase, I think it was worth every penny.

Thanks for all the compliments. Everytime I get back home from work and see it in the tank, I just smile. The city is Detroit, Michigan. It was our annual fragfest for Michiganreefers.com. We have some pretty serious reefers in the Detroit area. I just marvel at their systems because my little 90 looks pretty small compared to their systems. Many of the folks on the site are engineers for the big three. We get together twice a year but only the winter event is counted as a "fragfest." We have a lot of great people who really care a lot about the hobby.

I got the ric from a fellow reefer who is fragging them right now. I have no idea what their name is...not trying to hide my source or protect them from a ton of pms...I really don't know who they are. I just happened to see them off to the side and they had this marked orange/pink ricordia. It turns out they had the ric under 10k without actinics. As soon as it got under my 14ks, it just glowed bright, bright pink. The white accents have become so much brighter since that pic was taken. I will snap another in a couple of days to show the difference a week makes.

lier, lier, tongues on fire. Tell the truth, you really DO want to protect your sorces. Or you just want us to move to Motown and keep you company in those looong coooold winters.

Thanks again for the compliments.
Moggyhill,
I really don't know the name of the people who sold it to me. You can move to Detroit if you wish but you'd have to go about 4 hours northwest to keep me company LOL. Ludington is my town right on Lake Michigan and I only go "south" for the fragswaps and the Lions. Living up here makes Detroit look like Miami. LOL.
