juvinile AIPTASIA?

just found something that looks like AIPTASIA but instead of a brown color their white. have two of them that i can view, both are in LR crevicesand on the same rock. one is a 1/4 in. the other is about 3/8 inch.

i have seen lots of pictures of AIPTASIA but none that are white.

could these be AIPTASIA in juvinile stages?

Could be. I've found some in my overflow or in my sump that where clear to white from lack of light. Didn't stop the ba$tards from growing though!!

I've got quite a few of this quarter inch in size. I have not a clue what it is since I'm a newbie at identifying marine life. Is it the dreaded thing perhaps?

They come in shades of brown from nearly transparent off-white to almost chocolate colored. I have way too good of a selection of them.

ok their gone tonight when i get home.

now that i thought about it for a while i dont want to take the chance.

it seems strange that they started showing up after i cured the LF. i would have figured that they would have shown up then so i could have taken care of them earlier.
