Bring out your clams!
Six months of growth nearly 1 whole inch! I've had this deraesa under two 175 watt Metal Halides 20" from the surface. I'm so proud of my clam!
  Anybody else got clams that your proud of?! lets see them!

Well I just posted some pic's in the clam forum but alot of people don't get over to there so I will add here too.
Here are a few of my clams, sorry for the bad pic's blue maxima / black with blue stripe maxima  3 crocea's  green maxima  teardrop maxima  gold maxima  maroon w white maxima  derasa  gigas  squamosa  squamosa

Wow great pictures guys! I'm lovin those maxximas! And how about that green croecea!? I don't think I've seen a croecea that green ever! Looking real good. Any advice on where to get the best maxximas? Most of you guys going through clamsdirect.com or have ya just gotta really great LFS?!

This Deresa was 1.5" in length when I got it on July 24... it is now over 4" long (it grew 2.5 inches in less than 5 months):
 BTW I try to keep my Ca level between 450 and 500 to encourage good growth

7 of my 10 clam combo, the other 3 are already anchored elsewhere on the rocks  4" squamosa

You ever think to yourself, this clam looks alot like Tridacna tevora? Kinda does to me. I don't think it is, but that would be kewl. Lovin all these pics guys!

Derasa 2005, about 3+/-
 Now 7-8" +/-  Gigas 2005 3.5"+/-  Now 11-12"!!  Crocea 2005 4-5"  Now about 7+/- does't grow too fast but still attached to the same rock
