Night time behavior of the CBB
I see my CBB out a lot at night eating pods off the rocks I have a lot of pods and Mysis in my tank and I am of the belief that moonlighting is a good idea with these guys so they can find the extra food at night.
He does eat regularly when I feed the tank. I have even seen him nab food away from my PB so he is definitely not shy. I am curious though if anyone else has noticed this nighttime behavior? Possibly moonlighting and a good pod population is one of the reason why some people have an easier time with this fish then others? I have 5 watts of moonlighting on a 6' tank so there is plenty of light for him to navigate, but not so much that my other fish who do sleep are bothered. |

Possible...I have no issues with my CBB, and have a pretty large pod supply in the display with a moonlight as well.
Oddly, the CBB is the only fish in my tank that doesn't seem to require sleep.
