Dwarf Lion Fish Info Needed
I have lost two dwarf lion fish in as many weeks and am wondering if there is any simple explantion to this. All the other fish in the tank are doing great. All parameters are fine. And the weird thing is, that both dwarf lions were eating and responsive within an hour of acclimation, but then both were dead the next morning, one lived for about 24hrs. the other less. Any ideas?
Are these fish extremely sensitive to acclimation or anything I am unaware of. Could the feeding of ghost shrimp (fresh water) have any effect on this situation. Please give me any advice or info as this tank was set up with the intention of keeping these guys. Are any other lions (ie. antennata, fu man chu or radiata) which are more hardy. thanks for any tips or info reeferaddict |

What size tank?
What else do you have in the tank? Were they both in the tank together? Kaye

Here is the Lion Info sheet maybe you will find some thing in here that could have gone wrong. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/20...ture/index.htm
See if this thread can get moved to Fish Only & Aggressive Tanks. I have never done anything special when I acclimated mine & I just dont know what happened to yours. Kaye

What kind of dwarf lions? Fuzzies or zebras?
How long at the LFS before you got them (or did you order online?) |

Zebras are fairly hardy in my experience - the fuzzy dwarfs much less so. I lost mine a while back after being perfectly healthy for almost a year - I suspect it was a bacterial infection but not 100 percent sure.
