Coolest Hitchiker shroom......ID?
I found this shroom on a peice of new Live rock for my new 12g nano build. (click the red house above to see!) I really think it is one of the coolest mushrooms i've ever seen. Any ideas on a name or type? I've never kept shrooms before so i seriously know very little about them. Any info on its care would also be appreciated. thanks!

Discosoma sp.? would be my guess. Most mushrooms require the same sort of care: adaptable to many intensities of light; and low to moderate flow to allow full expansion. You can even try feeding them small meaty foods once in a while! before you know it they will be splitting for ya.
The mushrooms you got look nice!

Yea it's just a regular mushroom, though the color is very nice. Awesome hitchiker. You can just pretty much leave it alone and do nothing specific to it and it will grow and spread with the proper light and fish in the tank. You don't need to directly feed those and I honesty don't know how you can feed these types of mushrooms meaty foods. I've fed my ricordea and rhodactis pieces of squid and shrimp but a Discosoma wouldn't be able to take it.
