Exotic Aquatics

went to Exotic Aquatic yesterday and they have some nice sps frags but unfortunately my tank is packed to the neck so I was there for a tease and there was nothing I could do about it. time for another tank I guess.

The setup is not that impressive but it's a nice place to visit and compare to some stores it is a clean and their frags are big not the typical 1 or 2 inch frags and fish are healthy.

I would agree and disagree this frag I got which is twice the size of the frag you usually get from some LFS but the same price.

Now that Aquatic Reef has closed, you have to find a new place to spend all your money huh?

In all seriousness, I like Exotic Aquatics overall. Sometimes I think their coral prices are high, but they tend to have cool fish I don't see a lot of places, and their LR is always dirt cheap! Their monthly specials are also usually a great deal!

I'll jump on the Kimoy train for this one...giving props to the LFS

It's just funny (Kimoy, please don't take offense, as none is intended at all). I remember seeing at least one post a week from Kimoy about how awesome Aquatic Reef was before that place closed (and in all honesty, it was a very cool place with awesome staff). I can just see a weekly post coming from Kimoy now about how cool Exotic Aquatics is

I definitely second their LR is CHEAP. Usuaslly 3-5 a lbs. Not much coralline growth but nice shapes and nice rock. Definitely nice rock.
