My New 270g Baby coming soon

Just wanted to start a thread on my upgrade. I should be receiving my new 270g tank next week. I order it from aquarium obsession 72*36*24 sapphire front and sides. will be using my current equipment. building my own stand. I will post pics as i go.

Today, January 3, 2008, the coldest day in NYC, my tank arrived. Thank You Dave for coming thru. For right now it standing upright on a two dollies in the kitchen. I will built the stand and hood in a couple of weeks.

Sorry to butt in but surly the reason you can not find a bubble in the joints is because the silicon is black so you can't see through it?

so its not possible for a bubble to be on the surface of the silicone and right on the glass. I thought you get bubbles when the silicone meets the glass and not introduced in the silicone it self.

I was going to go with AO but decided against it because they only use black silicone. It does look really nice on your tank; however it's just not my taste.

I like the black silicone a lot. especially since the tank does not have plastic trim.

The front and sides are 12mm starphire glass, back 12mm regular glass and bottom is 19mm regular glass.
