$30 MH lamps on ebay- any harm in using them?
I am trying to find some ways to cut costs in getting started on the reef tank and found these on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true
I realize they probably aren't as good as brand name bulbs, but in what way would they be different? Would they be ok to use now that I am getting started and replace them with better ones when they start to go dim? Thanks! |

Probably burns closre to 6500k, but thats just a guess. I've never used that particular lamp.
