Thats an RPE... different lighting schemes make it look different.

I personally like my PPE more then the RPE. Mine have a red fringe, purple oral disk, and a neon green mouth you have never seen the likes of. I only have about 20-30. When that number is more like 200 I will start selling. That might take awhile though

your ppe's almost sound like my PRPE's and not PPE's in the first place. Whatever, it all gets lost in translation and is subjective. The following pic is under 10k lighting, NO actinics. I have about 50 of these.

I like the fact that they are starting to ask for flash shots on ZoaId.com. I hope they start to include flash shots of everything because blue lights make it really hard sometimes to tell what it is you are looking at in the first place. What would be REALLy cool is if everybody shot in RAW with a flash and they simply asked for the raw file before anyone could mess with it.

Regardless.........I like them all, and simply want to add these really reds I linked to my collection

My LFS store had some like that. About 10-12 heads for $80.00. I was going to buy them, but decided to hold off and good thing I did. A few of the polyps start to wither and die then the rest of them morphed to a green speckled PE polyp. Good luck in your search and just keep what I saw in mind. Also I just bought a bunch of stuff from zoafrag.com and all is nice and doing well, but he uses 400 watt 20K with 2 96 watt PC. I have a 14K and 2 95 VHO and they do not look as good. I figured they would look different and not as good, but they look very different. Like I said still nice and a great guy to deal with. So I hear you on the pics with flash so you know exactly how the coral will look when you receive it. Anyways good luck in your search and I will keep my eye open.

thanks mscarpena

blue lights are tough.....I really enjoy selling frags out of my tank.......they always look BETTER to whoever buys. Personally, I think corals look better showing their real colors under white lights......but to each his/her own. I mena no offense to anyone by that...its just my preference

here are my blue halos in my tank............second pic is my blue halos with flash. WYS is truly WYG

Those are beautiful. I do prefer a 12K or a 14K, but 20K is too blue for me. Those have a wonderful color for using a flash. The blue and yellow is a very nice and unusual mix of colors. I would love to get some of those from you. I might be ready to get some stuff in a couple of weeks from you. Hopefully you will have a few polyps for sale at that time. What do you sell those guys for per polyp. Thanks.
