"Recreational" frozen food for mantis

I have a 4" peacock. I originally stocked the tank with snails/hermits, which were decimated in a matter of days. From a financial standpoint, this isn't really sustainable, so I've been mostly feeding frozen foods.

(As a side note, there are two hermits, one small and one large, that have evaded the mantis by coming out only at night, and jamming themselves in rock crevasses during the day... smart!)

I have several other tanks, and have a variety of frozen foods. Among them are these small "clams on the half-shell" for puffers. Duh. Why didn't I think of that sooner? I thawed a small one and dropped it into Thumper's tank. She was very happy, came out and grabbed it, and whacked it into bits.

Just thought I would share.
