My New Addiction (Recipe Included)

(Secondary Title: Why I Can't Lose Weight)

Oh....my....gosh.... Last night, my wife baked the best bread in the world. I just can't stop eating it. She must have added drugs in it or something, because I'm addicted. They're called Refreshing Rolls. Here's the recipe.

Refreshing Rolls (Makes 12 Rolls)

Dough
(1) Egg; Room temperature with enough water to equal 1 cup
(1/4 Cup) Butter
(1/3 Cup) Brown Sugar
(1 1/2 tsp) Salt
(3 1/2 Cup) Bread Flour
(2 tsp) Active Dry Yeast

Topping
(1/2 Cup) Melted Butter
(2 Tbsp) Grated Orange Peel
(1/2 Cup) Sugar

Directions
1: Place on a lightly floured surface. Divide into pieces and shapes.
2: Mix together topping ingredients. Dip pieces in mixture making sure to coat them well.
3: Place in a greased 9"x13" baking dish. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until double in size. Brush with melted butter.
4: Bake at 350ºF for 20-30 minutes or until done. Serve warm.

my new one is chicken wing dip. Make a batch and all of a sudden half a bag of chips is missing.

I actually halved the original recipe

1 package cream cheese (left out so it's soft)
1 cup Franks hot sauce
1 cup shredded cheese (i use 4cheese blend)
2 chicken breast halves

Mix together everything and cover the bottom of a 9x9 pan (brownie pan). Coat with more shredded cheese.

Throw in oven @ 250º to soften everything further (10 min)

Chip wise, this is my new addiction. It doesn't need a dip. Once you eat one, there's enough fire to keep you eating so it doesn't burn.

Given that there is 3/4 of a cup of butter in one dozen rolls, of course they are good.

Imagine that! I think I'll try them and turn them into caramel rolls. Sound good.
